The Eastern Drugs and Alcohol Co-ordination Team was established
in 1996 as part of the Northern Ireland Drugs Campaign (NIDC),
initially focusing only on drugs, however in May 2001, the
NI Drug and Alcohol Strategies were brought together within
a Joint Implementation Model and the role of the Teams was
extended to include alcohol.
